Math Teacher for SAT/PSAT/ACT Prep Courses

Responsibilities:

• Teach Student Prep Courses utilizing the curriculum materials provided by SCOPE

Qualifications:

• NYS Teacher Certification Required
  Bachelor’s degree with strong background in content area of Math/Science or Secondary Ed. with major in Math/Science required
  Current or prior teaching experience preferred
  Prior SAT/PSAT/ACT teaching experience a plus

Hours:

• PSAT September through October (5 weeks)
• SAT September through November (7 weeks)
• ACT October through December (5 weeks) Monday – Thursday (classes offered one night per week) 6:00 p.m. – 7:30p.m. AND/OR 7:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
• Mon. – Fri., 25 hours per week.

SALARY:

$70.00 per hour.

Important Notes: This program is funded by tuition paid by the students. Sufficient enrollment is required for the program to operate. The person hired for this position will be required to permit SCOPE to do a criminal background check.
